The tasks, duties and powers of the Council shall be as follows:-

(1) To determine the necessary policies for the smooth operation of the health profession.

(2) Evaluating and reviewing related matters by determining the policies related to the study of health professionals, curriculum of teaching institutions, admission conditions and examination system.

(3) Determining the qualifications of health professionals To make arrangements for registering the names of health professionals.
